About Extraordinary Abilities

Support should
reflect the person.

Your strengths, interests, choices and goals belong at the centre of the conversation.

At Extraordinary Abilities, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, included in their community and supported to pursue a life that is meaningful to them.

Your goals. Your choices. Your journey.

Every ability deserves the opportunity to shine.

We aim to provide welcoming, respectful and individualised disability support that encourages participation, connection and the development of everyday skills.

We work collaboratively with participants and, where appropriate, their families, carers and support networks. Our team brings a range of backgrounds to an inclusive and welcoming service.

Our values

What matters
in everyday support.

Values should shape the small decisions too: what you choose to try, how support fits your routine and whose voice is heard.

Choice and control

Participants should have a say in their lives and supports. We start by listening to the person’s own preferences and goals.

Respect and dignity

Recognising each person’s individuality, privacy and rights, including their right to make decisions.

Inclusion

Encouraging meaningful participation and connection through interests and experiences that matter to the individual.

Independence

Supporting people to practise everyday skills and work towards their own goals, at an individual pace.

Individuality

Support should reflect the person. Different strengths, routines and needs call for an individual approach.
